Today is nice. I am sitting at home drinking ginger tea, eating a brownie that was baked by my boyfriend, looking at etsy, listening to Blink 182 and Ben Kweller and getting laudry done. One could say all my senses are engaged. The law man is still paying my wage, but I am allowed out tomorrow for what should prove to be some interesting training, and therefore I hope I don't run into road works.
I rode to work yesterday but not to any of the ride to work gatherings, I had too much on. B is still clicking her little heart out so Mark and I hae been talking about getting her serviced at Cycles Bespoke, which I have to investigate as soon as the law man allows it. I think she could use a good service anyway. Mark DID manage to attach the valve cap I have failed to put on for the better part of the year. It's a little gold dice. I like it.
I have been racking up the KMs with my new commute route and with going to the climbing gym yesterday and such. This makes me excited because it means that just maybe I will get to the 100KMs mark. If I am right, I currently sit just under it. I should be like 5 away or something! YAY! GOALS TO BE ACHIEVED!
I also need to secure my basket in a new way because it's not really liking me currently.
With reference to the title of this blog post, I was riding through the park on the way back from the climbing gym last night when a moth fluttered into my mouth at extreme speed and proceeded to try to take an expedition down my throat. It was a fast reaction to spit it back out. I hate it, I hate it as much as I hate the wind.
It's nearly all over and so, I am adding today and yesterday's Star Lady Pin Ups with slight saddness as this is all about to be over as an event. I'm going with a casual blacks feel for yesterday and today and have therefore chosen Jessica Alba on her sweet push bike with cute blue crochetted beanie and Angelina Jolie with black top and leggings both in ballet flats. Nice, sleek and simple on a bike.

I'm hoping that the ride to training tomorrow goes well, that I crack the 100 and that I eat no further bugs. I am also hoping that the Sunday vintage market will prove a fitting end to the challenge. Reports will keep coming for the next 3 days and then full move to DW will commence.
